Sorry for posting our Day 2 in Baguio just now.. I've been a bit busy this past few days.. ^_^
Anyways, our second day was on February 19, 2009.. We woke up at around 6am, took a bath and had our breakfast at the hotel.. After that, we went to La Trinidad, Benguet to have our community interview there.. This was for our FamComLab activity.. The weather was a bit hot but we didn't really know that it rained the night before.. We weren't careful in stepping on the grassy areas.. Sam, one of my bestfriends, slipped in the mud and fell down.. Then, I got my right foot on the mud too.. Keight sunk into the mud too.. So basically, when we had our community interview, we were muddy.. By the way, my groupmates were Bernice, Keight, Sam, Janina, Peter and Andrei..
The first family we interviewed was the Mariano Family.. They just rent the house of their boss in the flower industry.. They are flower gardeners.. The second family we interviewed was the Cayat Family.. Mrs. Cayat is an onion farmer.. On our way back to the jeep, we saw our other classmates.. They were buying roses.. The price surprised me.. 80 pesos for two dozens!!! It was really a good price but I couldn't buy because I was afraid it will die even before I reach Cavite..
After the community interview, we went to an Igorot village.. We toured around and found some really interesting stuff.. Then we had our lunch at Baguio State University were Mich had me eat broccoli.. It was delicious after all.. ^_^
After eating, we went to the Strawberry Farm.. There, we bought so many vegetables and fruits.. I bought 1 kilo of strawberry, 2 kilos of broccoli, 1 kilo of cauliflower and 1/4 kilo of sweet peas.. The prices were really cheap.. I also bought keychains for my brothers..
The last stop for that day was the Mines View Park.. But we were there for just a short period of time.. We just had picture taking there..
We went back to the hotel at around 7 pm and had our dinner there.. We held a movie marathon in Jamie's room.. But we never finished it because we were tired.. We slept at around 11 pm..
End of Day 2.. ^_^
